Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Sunrise reviews
LRB One of The Best Concerts Ever Seen!
We had a blast at Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's concert in South Lake Tahoe, more fun than we've had in a long time! It was awesome, with the band being genuine, friendly, funny, and entertaining. They performed their songs in a way we loved and remembered, interacting with the audience and highlighting each member's talents. They also shared poignant moments from the past, such as performing on 9-11-01 to help offer relief and normalcy to a stunned audience. They even shared a song they wrote about America on that fateful day. The band members threw guitar picks to the crowd and helped out with t-shirt sales before the concert. We regret not getting autographs after the show, as we were too busy enjoying the evening with friends. I still have my album cover from back in the day, though my album went missing. Wayne Nelson shook my hand and thanked me for coming, showing appreciation for the loyal fans. The band members are gentlemen and good human beings, appreciative of their fans. Rich, the guitarist, showed respect and threw a guitar pick to me. They also gave compliments to the opening act, Gary Mule Deer. Their performance of "Cool Change" brought back memories and was the perfect ending to a great night. Thank you to Wayne, Rich, Chris, Greg, Ryan, and Gary Mule Deer for a fantastic show!
